Naked Juice - Big Data

1. Source: Social Media
A lot of Naked Juice's Data stems from Social Media, such as Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. Their target audience, which consists of 18-35-year-olds, mostly women, are very active on these platforms. They share, like and comment a lot which helps Naked Juice to understand and connect to their target market.

2. Source: bloggers
Many health and fitness bloggers have posted about Naked Juice smoothies and juices and these blogs invite people to comment their opinion but also form opinions. Naked Juice can collect data from blogs about how their product is perceived, among their target market.

3. Source: Naked Juice Bus
Another source of data is the Naked Juice Bus which tours U.S. cities through which company can learn about the demographics of their consumer market. This helps to research who buys Naked Juice, which can be used to create advertisements and sales plans.

Pal Strap - helping with the key issue

The key issue of Naked Juice is the lack of a community. Naked Juice has the perfect platform to create a community as they promote health and fitness but it hasn't been able to establish a fixed group, yet. The new technology, Pal Strap, a portable GPS tracking device can help change that. It is as small as a watch and perfect for exercising. One can connect it to a smartphone, leave the phone at home and go for a run without having to worry about the phone dropping or it running out of battery. As soon as one arrives at home one can easily check the progress and route on the smartphone app and share it with friends. This device could establish a community amongst Naked Juice users, where they are able to share their exercise routes and progress. This device could help found a firm platform for Naked Juice consumers to connect.

  1. I like the idea of distance yourself of the actual product but think about the interest of the community. Interesting to see if people will use it!

  2. Well researched, I really like your approach and the way you reflected on your community's interests. This could actually help Naked Juice.
